Katie W. Sieg, SHRM-CP, founded NextWave Consulting with a clear purpose: to help growing organizations build the structure, systems, and leadership practices they need to scale with confidence.

With more than 20 years of professional experience across industries, Katie brings a rare blend of financial insight, operational perspective, and human resources leadership to every client engagement.

Her career has always centered on helping organizations work better—through people, processes, and perspective.

What sets Katie apart is perspective. She does not approach challenges solely through an HR lens. Instead, she brings financial, operational, and strategic insight to every recommendation—ensuring people decisions support both culture and profitability.

Katie has called Maryland’s Eastern Shore home for the past decade. She serves as Chair of the Board for Village of Hope and has been a board member since 2017. She is also active in the Women’s Fund of the Eastern Shore, the Salisbury Women’s Investment Group, and volunteers as a youth basketball coach.

Katie’s goal is simple: to make HR practical, approachable, and structured—so growing organizations can operate with clarity, lead with confidence, and build sustainable success.
